Barrington Walker

Barrington Walker is Assistant Professor of History at Queen's University where he teaches and writes on the subjects of Black Canadian history and the histories of "race" and immigration in Canada. He is currently finishing two major projects. The first is Black Felons: Race, Nationhood and the Law in Ontario's Criminal Courts, 1858-1958. The second is Immigration and Racism in Canada: Essential Readings (publication date spring 2008, Canadian Scholars Press).
